Gerard Butler Ages Gracefully

While Justin Bieber and Jennifer Aniston debuted shorter haircuts yesterday, Gerard Butler showed off just the opposite. The actor was recently spotted out with some longer locks that showed a hint of gray, according to The Daily Mail.

Butler, who sported a short, colored cut just a year ago, has let nature take its course on his hair. With so many movie projects in the works, we're not surprised the actor, 41, hasn't had time to hit the salon.

Perhaps his new natural look is for an upcoming role. He recently wrapped filming on two movies scheduled for release this year: 'Machine Gun Preacher,' which tells the true story of Sam Childers, a former drug addict and biker who helps Sudanese child soldiers; and the ensemble comedy 'Movie 43' co-starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Winslet -- just to name a few.

Next up for Butler: 'Playing the Field,' where he plays a regretful athlete who tries to redeem himself by coaching his son's soccer team -- leaving all the "soccer moms" swooning. It was just announced that he'll reprise his role in the sequel to 'How To Train Your Dragon.'
