Vince Neil Released From Jail Early

Motley Crue singer Vince Neil was released from jail on Friday after serving 10 days of a 15-day sentence, E!Online reports. Neil was serving a 15-day sentence for driving under the influence. He will now begin serving 15 days of house arrest.

Neil was arrested in Las Vegas last June when he was spotted weaving his Lamborghini in traffic and then failed a field sobriety test. His blood alcohol was nearly three times the legal limit.

The rocker accepted a plea deal in January. He pled guilty to misdemeanor driving under the influence and agreed to 15 days of jail time and 15 days of house arrest. He was also fined $585 and ordered to complete an alcohol-education class and participation in an online victim's impact panel.

"My great day just got even BETTER!! He's finally HOME!," his girlfriend, Alicia Jacobs, exclaimed on Twitter Friday. "@Thevinceneil just walked in the front door of his home! Home Sweet Home!!"

This isn't the rock-and-roll frontman's first brush with the law. He pleaded guilty to manslaughter and drunken driving in a 1984 crash that killed his passenger, 24-year-old Nicholas Dingley. Neil was 25 at the time and walked away uninjured. He served 20 days in jail and paid $2.5 million in restitution to victims.
